A former Rotherham care home worker has told the BBC how girls as young as 11 were "brazenly" groomed and abused in the South Yorkshire town.

The man, who worked at children's homes for four years, said girls would be picked up by taxis and abusers made "no attempts to disguise" their actions.

At least 1,400 children were sexually exploited, mainly by men of Pakistani heritage, between 1997 and 2013.

Those in charge of care services at the time have faced calls to resign.

They include Sonia Sharp, who ran Rotherham's children's services department from 2003 to 2008 and is now in charge of education services in the Australian state of Victoria.

Andrew Collins, an advocate for historical abuse survivors, said Ms Sharp should resign "immediately" from her current job because her position was now "inappropriate".

I guess that if there was a Pakistani gang of muslims picking up girls at the school gates and plying them with drugs, she could say it has nothing to with what she was hired for. There’s something weird about this entire story from an Australian perspective. If your daughter was being picked up by a middle eastern (or ‘asian’) looking male and returning home looking physically abused (and later, pregnant,) what might you do as a parent?
Have parents in the UK ceased to be parents and handed over their parental obligations to Public Servants?
If they have, then heaven help the children, because the government won’t.
No government employee is going to endanger his/her position by identifying the perpetrators as followers of the paedophile mohammad.

Hi Freddie.

Thx for your always insightful input.

Has this Rotherham issue gained any resonance in OZ. You can just imagine the blueprint for Rotherham (if that was its source) has been replicate around the world where muslims live in Western cities.

I admire the effectiveness of their vile attempts to bring their 72 virgins down to Earth. Vile but effective none-the-less.

Muslims are horny little devils, aren't they?

Perhaps this is a weakness we can exploit.

civilization really is collapsing

Oh no...not at all.

The dark underbelly of civilization is so confident lately that it is emerging from the shadows.

Now that it is visible, those of us who are civilized can arm ourselves against it and go to war with it.

And we have no doubt who will win.

Evil is always doomed. And goodness always wins in the end.

The reason for this is that God is the source of goodness. And when God appears to be losing...it is merely a stragem for a later victory.
