Senior Leaders of Islamic State Eliminated in Airstrikes

The leadership of the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) terrorist group in Syria and Iraq took a sharp blow on Thursday, as roughly 20 senior figures, including a top aide to IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, were killed in airstrikes according to the Iraqi defense ministry.

In airstrikes on the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, where IS began its blitz conquest of Iraq in June, Baghdadi's top aide was killed along with a senior IS military commander, Abu Alaa al-Iraqi, according to Iraqi sources cited by BBC.

It remains unclear if the airstrike was conducted by local US-trained Iraqi forces, or by the US, which has been engaged in a series of targeted airstrikes on IS terrorists in Iraq since last month.

IS took a blow in eastern Syria as well, where 18 foreign jihadist senior leaders of the group, including an American jihadist, were killed by an airstrike in the IS-held city of Raqqa according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The top IS leaders were in the municipal building of Gharbiya, which has been used as a headquarters for the extremist group, when the strike occurred.

How I despise Democrats for condemning Republicans for using military force only to be dragged kicking and screaming into using it themselves. If Bush had done this, all we’d hear about is the number of children that “warmonger” and his bloodthirsty generals had just murdered.

And I don't recall the MSM bragging about Bush having a kill list, and being
proud of that fact. They've propped up Obama as a tough guy with a kill list.

Now he's started his War after ending Bush' War when he pulled our troops out
of Iraq. This should be shoved up the ass' of every damn Democrat from now until
hell freezes over.

So obviously Vallerie Jarrett and The Won were kept out of the loop on this one? Not enough time to tip them off from the Oval Office.

After all, “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” - Barack Obama, from his "Audacity of Hope"

I wonder who is doing the spotting, or were these targets already known?

I don’t know. I think a lot is going on we don’t know about. I saw this last night on twitter:

Charles C. Johnson @ChuckCJohnson · 6h

Five thousand U.S. Marines were deployed to Kuwait today... I wonder why? #ISIS

Probably already known. Hell, Obunga’s arming them one day, letting them run wild the next, bombing them the day after. All scripted, part of the making ISIS “manageable” thing. Someone had to “take one for the team” and these guys were it.

I don’t trust Islam, Obunga or anyone in Obunga’s cabinet.

Fox News played the video of George Bush’s press conference where he predicted what would happen if we pulled all troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan. VERY PROPHETIC. Right on the money with every prediction.

See today’s DebkaFile for the answers. I’d post a link, but too many here would disparage it simply because they seem to despise anything Debka.

I'm sure Obama and his handlers will take credit for the kill - like he did with Osama...not that he had anything to do with either...but he will sell himself like a male trannie for political points!...an then have a parade....for himself...

Killing “leaders” is not worth much. They are eminently replaceable. America is providing new leaders for them all the time with the releases from Guantanamo. When they need leaders we send them leaders.

At the beginning of the Iraq war I assumed that the US was intent on doing the intelligent thing, creating and maintaining a major military installation in Iraq with which to keep tabs on and control the forces in the ME. We could have done that without even deposing Saddam. I underestimated Bush’s judgment. I really don’t want to see another Bush in the presidency, even if his name is Romney.

That's kind of three ways of saying the same thing. The Brotherhood appears to staff much of the government and is surely the source of most of the advice and direction. The heads of several major agencies are Mohammedans and therefore Jihadists who do not have Infidel America's non Moslem interests as priorities.

Debka is despised by many because they report many things that are in the works but don’t pan out quickly or get short circuited. They also appear prescient at times because the things they report early and are derided for often do come about. Debka does not make stuff up. Their main failing seems to be that they say ‘will happen’ when they perhaps they should say ‘is planned.’

You’d think jihadis would learn how to conference call, instead of meeting together in one place.
