Nearly six years into a presidency devoted to ending wars, President Obama on Wednesday announced he is launching a new global war against the ultra-violent al Qaeda terror group known as the Islamic State.
The president’s new strategy of conducting U.S. airstrikes combined with foreign military ground operations against IS in Iraq and Syria, however, will be limited to the terror group, and lacks what analysts say is a broader ideological offensive against Islamist terror of all stripes.

I just heard an excerpt from Obozo’s speech where he said: “ISIL is not Islamic. No religion would behead innocent people.” What planet are you on, stupid? Quit appologizing for your religion, get your head out of your butt, and try to act like a leader, not Baghdad Bob for ISIL.

I did not listen to the speech last night, in fact I scarcely know what was in it.
But as the penchant of the Current Occupant, he denies that the Islamic State, or ISIS, or whatever it is being called today, is somehow not “Islamic”.
ISIS is the very PUREST form of Islam, which would not be the scourge upon the world it is today if it had not forcibly compelled wide regions of the Middle East (which prayed to a multitude of gods at the time) to convert to Islam upon pain of death. With a scimitar or dirk at their necks, preparatory to death and beheading, the catechism and conversion were concluded rather quickly.
Apostasy carries the same penalty as failure to convert in the first place. Carrying out the verdict of this judgment on the part of the imam in charge is just like satisfying sexual cravings to some of the more enthusiastic members of this cult.
