As Businesses Flee, Jerry Brown's California Attracts A Different Kind Of "Investment"

Immigration: When California Gov. Jerry Brown hung out the "all welcome" sign for illegals, Mexico's drug cartels heard him loud and clear. Raids on Thursday left lawmen declaring Los Angeles a cash-laundering mecca. Roping off 100 blocks of downtown Los Angeles this week, federal agents from the U.S. attorney's office raided roughly 70 garment district businesses along with a few houses in tony Westwood and Beverly Hills. The suspected crime was laundering money for Mexico's Sinaloa cartel. Agents hauled out $65 million in cash stuffed in duffel bags, suitcases and boxes, some of it blood-spattered. The cash came from hostage ransoms, drug sales and alien-smuggling fees. Some of those arrested were charged with "various immigration offenses," according to the affidavit.

I really don’t think Jerry Brown gives a hoot in Hell about it, honestly.

Jerry is a creep alright, but in all fairness every governor since 1990 has been in on this fiasco. None of them defended our sovereign state’s borders.

Brown inviting the Mexican President over for a BJ and kisses didn’t help his standing, that’s for sure.

These raids were federal raids, but yes, Jerry hung out the welcome sign.

Why be fair?

Brown takes it to anew level.

LA is just Mexico now, with corruption and gang murder commonplace.

Never let him forget it.

They roped off a 100-block area for this and there was no media coverage?

Doesn’t bother me that he gets blamed. It just bothers me when others don’t.

Gray Davis actually held a celebration on the Capital steps when the white populace in the state fell below 50%.

Think about that! Incredible!

Heck, they could rope off all of Chicago for a weekend shootout and there would be no MSM coverage ... it doesn’t fit the script given to them.

How fiendishly genius! The 65 million is divvied up amongst the various government indites, The Cartels are put on notice that they are going to have to pay to play ( campaign and “charity” donations) with the powers that be in order to keep raids to minimum. Though, there will always be some, sort of like quarterly tax collection. A doped up electorate pushed to the polls to keep the Dems in power. Millions quietly living in squalor thinking of nothing more then their next score, a Progressive paradise.

Drugs are the cause. If the gringos weren't so insistent on getting high, stoned, whatever, and if they could FACE REALITY without the drugs, there would be NO MARKET for those Mexicali drogas.

The Mexican government ARE the cartel. So are all the governments south of our border. Without political backing there would BE no "cartel" in ANY country.

Supply and demand.
Americans NOT on drugs...WHAT a concept. The cartels would be forced " to get outta Dodge" for lack of demand.
