Like Hedy Epstein, Eva Steiner Moseley is another fake Holocaust survivor who uses phony claims of being a Holocaust survivor to attack Israel and support terrorists.
Eva Moseley is even more fake than Hedy Epstein because she and her family moved to New York in 1939. Moseley is a more honest fraud because she describes her fake Holocaust survivor routine as her ‘schtick’.
In a shockingly unguarded moment, she wrote the following email to her comrades at the Peace Commission: “I can do my “I escaped from Nazi Vienna and am unhappy with what Israel does” schtick, if you think that would help.”
Eva Steiner Moseley debuted her fake Holocaust survivor schtick again at an appearance by Elizabeth Warren.

“Eva Moseley, I’m not a student, I’m not an alumnae, but was in faculty life. I was also a Holocaust refugee and I’m extremely concerned that Jews don’t do to another people what was done to them,” said the activist.
“I think that’s fair,” Senator Warren responded.
“You recently said that you believe that Israel has the right to self-defense,” the activist continued. “Do you also believe that the Palestinians have a right to self-defense?”
“Of course. So, and the answer is yes. The direction we ought to be moving is not toward more war. The direction we need to be moving, as I said, I believe we need to move to a two-state solution where both peoples can be secure and safe within their own borders. So, I’m there,” responded the senator from Massachusetts.
Now in all fairness to Warren, she probably wasn’t doing a very good job of parsing Eva Moseley’s doubletalk.
The right of “Palestinians” to self-defense is code for terrorism. Warren was probably also caught off guard by a woman claiming to be a Holocaust survivor and she quickly pivots to the safe ground of “I’m for peace” without really realizing what is going on.
The insanity continued.
“You specifically apologized for Israeli actions attacking schools and hospitals and you’re going on the congressional Israel trip which we all know is like AIPAC alignment, is what that is. So as a progressive, as someone who wanted you to come be a progressive, how can you say what you’re putting forward on Israel is progressive?” the woman asked.
“You know, look, you can do whatever characterization you want of it, but listen only to my words. I didn’t apologize for anyone. I made clear what my view is. I don’t want to see anyone kill more people,” Warren said. NECN asked if it’s wrong for people to feel Warren is favoring Israel.
“You know, it’s – I think that peace favors both peoples and that’s what we really need,” Warren said, adding, “Nut I always want to be clear about this. The parties themselves are the ones that will have to negotiate this – it is not up to America to impose it.”
It does seem like Warren is semi-randomly tossing out talking points that she had picked up earlier for an issue that she doesn’t really understand.
She seems qualified to be the second female Secretary of State.

No, it's not, not of itself. That terrorists and their supporters misuse the term in that way doesn't change its meaning.
Palestinians, like every other group and individual on earth, have the right to defend themselves against attack.
They don't, any more than any other group, have the right to attack and intentionally kill uninvolved people as part of a theater production about their oppression.
To analogyze this to myself. If attacked by person A, I have the right to use deadly force, if necessary, to defend myself against him.
I do not have the right to attack and kill person Q because I think it will help me in my fight against person A.
Sometimes persons B-O wind up dead as an unfortunate consequence of the fighting. That's regrettable but acceptable. But not if I intentionally target them.

That is like saying you survived the 9/11 attack on the WTC and Pentagon because you once visited the World Trade Center and took a tour of the penagon years before the attack...

I'm unclear how that makes her a "fake Holocaust survivor." Does the appellation require a period of residence in a camp? What are the rules?
Here's one definition: "And she pointed to another paragraph from Yad Vashem which stated: “One can also define Shoah survivors as Jews who lived for any amount of time under Nazi domination, direct or indirect, and survived it . . . as well as Jews who forcefully left Germany in the 1930s, after the rise of the Nazis to power. No historical definition can be completely satisfactory.”

I’ve always wondered what might be even worse than claiming you were in the military when you weren’t or saying you won the such-and-so medal when you never did. This might be it.

The major effects of Nazism were already being felt in 1933. Any Jew who didn’t get out in the mid-1930’s either couldn’t financially or were kidding themselves about the threat.

I hate Warren and the muslim apologists too, but from the excerpt she doesn’t claim to be a Holocaust survivor, but a Holocaust refugee. Which I think someone who left Vienna in 1939 would be considered a refugee.

Yeah, I was trying to think of something recent history relevent and came up short...
But it is very disingenious for her to claim “Holocaust Survivor” because when that term is invoked the common thought is that the person survived being sent to a camp, got the tattoo and only survived due to either being liberated at the end of the war or managed to somehow escape the concentration camp and sneak out of germany.

That woman is pretty horrible (both of them, actually), but it seems like she claimed she was a “holocaust refugee” which is... accurate... if I understand her history correctly.
Not that I accept anything else that she says.

So I’m a Korea veteran because I was there in 1978-79 and 1981-82? Because I’m not. My father was, along with World War II, but I was there to help enforce the cease fire. The war ended in 1953. If she left Vienna in 1939, I wouldn’t really say she’s a Holocaust survivor. Robert Clary (born Robert Max Widerman) who played French Air Forces Corporal LeBeau on Hogan’s Heroes, was sent to the Nazi concentration camp at Ottmuth. He was later sent to Buchenwald, where he was liberated on April 11, 1945. Twelve other members of his immediate family were sent to Auschwitz. Clary was the only survivor.

I listened to her comments. She actually referred to herself as a Holocaust refugee. Nonetheless, the nutcase is equating current Israel to the Nazis.
