Do they even understand attractants in a vacuum? Or simple gravitation? Don’t for a single second think that this witch doctor at ICR and his regular cast of dimwits (throwing out ‘secular’ as if it somehow meant that makes the other guy obviously wrong)have the slightest notion of the rudiments of science. They should stick to biblical interpretation (the why question) and leave real science (the how question) to scientists.
Except they didn’t. Genesis says there was some sort of earth and water BEFORE He said “let there be light”, and next He separates the light from the dark so clearly the light would be the sun not the big bang.
I could list 100 evidences for evolution but I’m too lazy. I notice that this sort of debate is ongoing at FR. I don’t think either side ever changes anyone’s mind.
Above, beyond, and not bound by our 4 dimensions, time and distance are inconsequential, merely spread sheet numbers on a two dimensional paper.

Nope.
You tell what I am describing:
“Everything” was created, but “nothing” had form, only energy. Vast amounts of energy actually.
Then light condensed from this energy, then the light condensed as it expanded and cooled into the matter we now now.
Then this newly-formed matter and residual energy (physics calls these things: plasma, gasses, dust, clouds gathered “fluids” by the way - just like “water” is a “fluid” in your words above and “earth” is a solid planet of gathered together galactic dust and particles.) Regardless of what you call them, these fluids gathered together into the stars above and the earth (our planet) below.
At that time, there was only one continent and one ocean. It later broke up into the seven seas we now know and the continents and islands everybody is familiar with today.
Plants came first, probably in the ocean near shallow water. They reacted with the cloudy, poisonous original atmosphere and released the oxygen-rich nitrogen (visually clear) atmosphere we now have.
Life formed, first in the shallow seas, then on land later: amphibians and dinosaurs (what we now know as birds are felt to be the evolutionary descendants of those dinosaurs. Mammals later, but snakes (remarkably!) very, very late in the evolutionary timeline: Modern form about 30 millions years ago.
Man last of course.
So, what part of the above science do you disagree with?

Now, tell me how many heavy atoms are in the solar system, and how they formed between the Big Bang (13.5 some-odd years ago) and the separation of the solar system from nearby stars about 6 billions years ago.

Sorry but you’re just making it up. Science doesn’t match the order of things in Genesis. Even if we pretend plasma is water it doesn’t add up. Because the light is still the sun (the only way to day and night) NOT the big bang. It also has the rest of the stars created after night and day. Also it has birds created at the same time as sea life and before land life.
The order in Genesis and the order according to science quite simply do not match. Period.
According to Creationist, especially YEC, 24 hours. Anything else is blasphemy.
Why the battle against geological time? Can’t the creation story be true even if the earth is +/- 4 billion years old?
I think this centuries old cross scripture analysis that the 7 day period of creation having to equal 7,000 years is bogus.
When God declared the first day, the earth was not even revolving around the sun. If a day is the time it takes for the earth to make one revolution in it’s pathway around the sun......then clearly God did not mean a day as we know it.
I don’t see any reason why Moses’s reference to the creation “day” cannot be a phase or period. Especially since each described creation day appears to be based on a particular task focus rather than an elapsed period of time.
If God took 24hrs (x7), 1000 years (x7) or 4.5 Billion years it still does not disprove the creation story.
IIRC, latest theory calls the existence of black holes into question.
