Did you know that the upcoming midterm elections can be summarized as Denny's vs Dunkin' Donuts? Does that sound ridiculous to you? Well, it is just as ridiculous as Chuck Todd stretching to raise Meet The Press out of its third place ratings yesterday by describing the midterm elections as Starbucks Nation vs Chick-Fil-A Country as you can see in this video (and below).
As a result, Todd who needs respect as the new host of MTP, instead received widespread and well deserved mockery from across the ideological spectrum. The mockery begins with Brian Maloney of the Media Equalizer who asks When did Sunday morning political shows become so pointless?

The best comment about Chuck Todd is that “His goatee makes him look like he doesn’t use toilet paper.”
“I just have to look good, I don’t have to be clear.”
if they hate the south and Midwest then I suggest they stop moving here like locusts who come and ruin areas.
The strategy of replacing a obnoxious communist host with another obnoxious communist host to boost ratings seems to be a great success!
O’Charley’s
F. Chuck Todd - what the hell are you all doing to my show?
I think Chris Plante just called it “Press the Me(a)t”. I almost spat my coffee across the kitchen.
Now that's funny rightchair, I don't care what anybody says.
proper attribution goes to: Songwriters: HENLEY, DON/KORTCHMAR, DANNY “Dirty Laundry”
Yup.
These jerks love our low taxes, low crime, and affordable living, but then they move here and start voting for tax hikes, and leftist candidates.
I understood the characterization although I might describe it as “Whole Foods vs Wal-Mart”.
the amount of times I hear them come down here, , and then moan about how things are here. They then want their lefty agenda, vote for their left wing loons, and demand their new area look like the northern socialist hell hole they moved from.
The line I just have to look good, I dont have to be clear" was part of the lyrics of a surprisingly perceptive song by Don Henley of The Eagles, although it was not performed by that group. That song, Dirty Laundry, is well described in this Wikipedia article.
The song might be interpreted as being somewhat conservative in its point-of-view, although IIRC Mr. Henley denied that when he was asked if he had thrown his lot in with conservatives on the issue of media bias.
Tim.............Chuck Todd is only the “Stepford Wife” of NBC/MSNBC. Don’t blame him...he’s just a low life “Obamabot” clone!!! It’s the NBC executive group that is lost in space, adrift at sea, without a paddle!!!
Like failed POTUS Obama.....the NBC/MSNBC top management, cannot manage their way out of a paper bag!!! Shucks.....Poor Obamabot. Liberal Souls need to sheparded to the toilet!!!
Folks......vote against any & all Democrats running for office, come November 4, 2014, and, effctively destroy theentire Democrat Party, politically...and with it.....make Obama the lamest of Lame Duck POTUSs in USA history!!!
Obama is just a major, enemy of the state (USA) and an avid lover of both his beleove Muslim Brotherhood & ISIS!!! Get real....folks!!! Broom Obama, back to Chicago, into politcal obscurity where he rightfully belongs!!!
I think he has a point. I won’t buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks myself, and I patronize Chick-fil-A even though I don’t eat chicken.
I got a better solution:
