Facts, schmacts....
we’re talking about personal self-righteousness here,
and nothing else matters.

the "Great Pause" in global temperatures now stands at 17 years and 11 months... Largest amount of Antarctic sea ice in at least 50 years; limited number of sunspots, portending at least a mini-ice-age, perhaps a Maunder minimum.

Judging from the garbage left behind by this tsunami of Captain Planet wannabes, these “marches” have to be good for “da conomy”. Hell, I’ll bet drug sales alone were probably in the millions.

Climate change isn't about facts - it's about social justice. It's the seriousness of the emotions about the weather experienced by the poor that matter, and an immediate transfer of Federal funds into the bank accounts of their advocates is necessary to alleviate their suffering. :)

It's not out of step with the greenie "watermelon" agenda. Socialism under the disguise of environmentalism.
You ought to see what young school kids are being taught about this. Only one generation separates truth from accepted fiction.

Using facts is an archaic concept invented by racist, chauvinistic white male republican capitalists in suv’s working for big oil and should be avoided at all costs!!

I saw some black people in that march so therefore any criticism of it is racist.

If I was an employer in that area, I’d have someone collect all the names of the people in the protest and put them into my computer.
That way if any of them ever applies for a job, I could say, “No thanks, we need people that are smarter than you”

Judging from the garbage left behind we see that the lowest information dim bulbs are just as big a bunch of hypocrites as the rich ones that fly around the world to tall people how bad “fossil” fuels are...

You know what environmental disaster we should discuss and protest against? How about the literally sickening air pollution from unfettered burning of coal to generate electricity in China? Anyone who's seen pictures and videos of Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenyang, etc. from the last 14 years note the fog-thick smog causing many Chinese to suffer from lung-related diseases.
This air pollution is so bad that even the Korean Peninsula and Japan downwind gets affected strongly; in some cases, that air pollution has even reached the western coast of North America, too.

The curious thing, IMHO, is that these folks are convinced that we can “destroy the planet” with SUVs but are completely unconcerned about Global Economic Collapse which is something we CAN do and probably will. Soon, too.
