Interesting announcement from our government, considering that the Army had just announced back in May that 30,000 soldiers would need to be removed from active duty rolls over the next year and a half.

How many of those 30,000 are in the high demand skills area that this article is talking about?

"U.S. Military Now Allowing Illegal Immigrants to Serve (Obama's Orders)"

...because it's easier to get foreign born soldiers to kill American citizens than it is to get native born American soldiers to kill American citizens.

undocumented immigrants with “high-demand skills” and “mostly rare foreign language expertise or specialized health care training”

Can anyone tell me why someone with high-demand skills or specialized health care training needs to enter the country illegally in the first place?

And while you're at it, how many mostly rare foreign language countries are we likely to go to war against? If the language is that rare, is the country really going to be advanced enough to be a threat requiring war?

I detest Obama. That qualification being established I also want the truth out there.

MAVNI is not a new program suddenly opening military service up to potentially dangerous foreign nationals, however. Started in 2008 under the administration of President George W. Bush, the initiative recruits individuals who emigrated to the U.S. with their parents before the age of 16; specifically, it now targets persons approved under the 2012 Deferred Action for Child Arrivals Act (DACA). The goal of MAVNI is to locate and enroll people with specialized skills, particularly highly valued medical and linguistic skills, for military service to the U.S. The initiative unveiled in September 2014 expands the program and extends it past the end of the 2014 fiscal year.

If they don’t speak good English and have little understanding of the Constitution...well, I think it speaks for itself.

Since everyone joining is screened for a Secret clearance I don’t see how any of them would be eligible. But then again Bath House Barry couldn’t get a clearance either as his background is hidden.
