An Egyptian court sentenced 68 Muslim Brotherhood supporters to jail terms on Tuesday, judicial sources said, in a case related to deadly violence a year ago after the army's ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi.

All were found guilty of killing 30 people and intending to kill others in Cairo on October 6, 2013, when more than 50 people died in clashes across the country between Mursi opponents and supporters.

Judge Mohamed Ali Al-Faqi gave 63 of the defendants 15 years in jail and five others 10 years.

Why are they just being put in jail? That means they can agitate and be released at some point. They killed 30 people and plotted to kill more. Egypt has the death penalty. Why not execute them?

Egypt's president al Sisi is one of the most brilliant strategists on the globe---revered by Egyptians for throwing the M/B out of Egyptian politics.

In the post-Morsi era, then-Gen al Sisi (now Egyptian president) refused to take Obama's phone call---b/c al Sisi knew Obama wanted al Sisi to leave the M/B alone.

Brilliant strategist, al Sisi, proceeded to smash the M/B and throw them out of Egyptian politics....he vowed to rebuild the 65 Christian churches the M/B had torched.

=============================================

It should be remembered that while Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood were in charge in Egypt, Obama and Hillary showered them with praise and provided billions of dollars in aid, arms, tanks and planes.

Egypt has unceremoniously thrown the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egyptian politics.... and hasn’t forgotten the support offered to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Egypt has now charged Obama and Hillary Clinton for conspiring and collaborating with the M/B and advancing their terrorist activities. Hillary's pal, al Haddad, is also sitting in an Egyptian jail (reported by H/T Western Journalism).

==============================================

Here's a job for President al Sisi---should he choose to accept it:

Obama’s stated intention to work with allies to “make ISIS a manageable problem" is ISIS' control of lucrative oil fields in Iraq and Syria.

The mention of ISIS' oil wealth makes one wonder if ISIS struck a deal w/ neocon godfather--Richard Perle---who was staring his own oil company in Iraq----according to the WSJ.

==================================================

REFERENCE POINTS---Circa 2008, the WSJ reported neocon Richard Perle was talking with a "Turkish" firm, AK Group International, and also a representative from the government of Kazakhstan.

They are targeting the co-called "K18 concession" which is near the city of Erbil and is estimated to hold 150 million or more barrels of oil.

Houston-based Endeavour International would conduct the exploration and drilling, according to the Journal.

During the run-up to the Iraq war, Perle was chairman of the Defense Policy Board, which advises the US Pentagon. He was also a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think-tank in Washington.
