The game of Ebola Roulette continues...

*click* spin *click* spin *click* spin…BANG!

Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa ping!

Bring Out Your Dead

We’re gonna need

a bigger cart!

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Ebola has a 21 day incubation period.

Unless you can see into the future, NO METHOD will predict who has ebola.

This country is FUBO'd.

In the meantime, the GOP-controlled House does...?

Now let's not always see the same hands.

This is the same Administration that banned ALL flights to Israel because of ONE rocket that got within 10 miles of Ben Gurion airport..so they had NO problem banning all flights to Israel because of one rocket(Which they used as an excuse to put pressure on Israel to stop its war with Hamas) but won’t ban flights from Liberia..just shows this is all part of Obama’s plan, infect as many people in the US as possible and somehow use it to blame Republicans

I live in Dallas and work with the public and if this turns into an outbreak within about a month, I'm outta here.
Why risk death over pride or business. 100 infections will be my evacuation point

A travel ban would make it more difficult for professionals to reach Africa to help end the Ebola epidemic, he explained.::::

I don't give a rats patootie if they get help they will continue to eat obnoxious critters & come down sick, but if you insist, AIR DROP the professionals in, but they don't come out. No aircraft LANDS or takes off there. Simply solution, Caveat Emptor.

PS, and NO I am not heartless about those people, but they have some education from the U.S., but refuse to help themselves. So go ahead eat that monkey or bat, ymmmm, ymmmm, want Katchup with that?.

Fine. just fine.

Start ringing United Airlines phone off the hook and demand that they stop flights! British Airways did...United can.

Willful negligence is a darn good threat to go along with terrorized public complaints.

the Africans scared into flying to the USA will overwhelmingly vote Liberal or their children definitely will.

from the point of view of electoral politics it would be an act of supreme illogic for them to impede these flights in any way.

they might not have intended the outbreak to occur however how this is now shaping up is as an African version of the Central American child invasion.

When you live in an elitist, affirmative action bubble, nothing is real. When everything goes south, the media will help place the blame on someone else. No worries.

How would a travel ban make it more difficult to help fight Ebola in Africa? He’s saying that it would make it harder to send people to Africa to help?

How about we allow people to travel there, but don’t allow them to return until the incubation period is passed? Can’t we do some common sense thinking here???

Simple solution, we’ll just institute the ban after it’s too late. /s

What?
You never heard about the sophisticated multi-layer screening systems in Africa?

They’re multi-layered, man. Keep up.
