You don’t ban flights, you cancel visas and don’t allow entry to people holding passports from infected countries, come on it’s not that hard the whole banning flights thing is a canard.
That's racist. Your plan would add to the cost of coming here from regions with Ebola-enhanced biodiversity, and West Africans are already suffering from poverty. Who but a bigot would make sick people ride in the back of a truck, all the way from Mexico to their drop off points, when they could come through our airports just like everyone else? And what's the point of making air travel harder when we know the borders cannot be secured. Obama said we can't stop everyone at the border, so it must be true, so why bother trying?

So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
