said Marsha Catron.

This statement doesn’t even make any sense. “Categorically false” and “no credible evidence” are two different things. The second sentence detracts from the first. It’s barely more credible than saying. “I categorically deny taking that bribe, and no one can prove that I did.”

Catron’s statement sounds like it was made by a robot.

And why does every statement about whether something happened or not include the now-throwaway phrase “on the ground”?. It’s like everyone’s hovering around in the ether.
