Thousands gathered Saturday for a second day of organized rallies and marches protesting Michael Brown’s death and other fatal police shootings in the St. Louis area and nationwide.
The events remained peaceful but boisterous gatherings into the night. Vietnam-era peace activists, New York City seminarians and hundreds of fast-food workers bused in from Chicago, Nashville and other cities marched alongside local residents, spurred by a national campaign dubbed Ferguson October.

Apparently, to the civil rights crowd it is now a crime for a police officer to defend him or herself when some thug is shooting at them. The national insanity goes on.
Apologies to Nancy Pelosi (that’s SARCASM) -these are nothing but Astroturf protests. If you want to know what Democrats are doing, just look at what they are accusing us of doing. They have perfected the art of Projection. This is nothing but an attempt to rile up the Dem base before the election. Look for things to quiet down after Nov 4.

It’s like the expect black privilege to kick in or something. I’m sure if it was some white kid shooting at the cops, the cops would have just said “stop doing that and go on about your business”.
Well, until Nov. 5th when the new updated obiecare cost per household come out. Wailing and crying in the streets. Oh, and begging for and getting more govt subsidies to help pay for the increased cost. You know, “govt money”.
I have wondered too, if these protests will continue as winter is approaching. Will they be out there in cold weather and snow protesting still? I think bad weather might make them stay inside..........

It is frustrating that they will not release the Obamacare premiums until after the election. The GOP should be talking about this. The rates will be much higher, which is why they are hiding them till after the election.
Ditto with amnesty for illegals. Obama will issue an executive order after the election.
Ditto with whatever radical will be Eric Holder’s replacement.
All of these are put aside so as not to be campaign issues in these elections.
Exactly. And it this was a Republican Admin, these hypocrisies would be the lead story every night from here to Nov 4. But it’s the Dems, the Media’s Masters, so *crickets*.
A friend told me the other day they ramped **** up in Ferguson and tear gas came out.
The protesters were prepared with gas masks but failed to apply the filters.

You can always tell .. because they use the same chants they have been using for many, many years. The unions are between a rock and a hard place .. because they supported this horrible admin, and now they have to deal with so many of their workers losing their jobs. Their goal is to sign up more workers .. because otherwise, they don’t have the funds to support the crooked politicians in the dem party.

I was recently perusing a thread on the NY Times where a very large number of reality-challenged morons were arguing that very point. In their tiny minds they believe (1) white kids commit just as much crime as black kids...(even though, of course, black kids are mostly innocent and are just railroaded by the cops), and (2) white cops let white kids go all the time for offenses black kids are thrown into jail or outright shot for...(even though, as I stated previously, most black kids are innocent of their crimes and are railroaded by vicious, racist white cops.)
This is the mindset of many white libs and and many average black Americans. How is it possible to coexist in the same country as these deluded fools? I'm beginning to think we can't.
Yes. Michael Brown’s shooting is a wonderful issue to tie civil rights to. Much better than segregated drinking fountains and schools. Shows you how far the movement has fallen from the 50s. Their icon is a thug and the protestors all moochers living off the system. Where is a daisy cutter when you need one?
