“Climate change is a ‘threat multiplier’ because it has the potential to exacerbate many of the challenges we already confront today—from infectious disease to armed insurgencies—and to produce new challenges in the future,” Hagel said. He spoke during the opening session of the conference, which was attended by defense ministers and military chiefs of more than 30 countries from the Americas, Spain and Portugal.
Changing climate trends could spur more natural disasters, demanding more military support, he said. “Our coastal installations could be vulnerable to rising shorelines and flooding, and extreme weather could impair our training ranges, supply chains and critical equipment.” …

Ebola will be a problem for the military. As if you are so concerned about climate change, you, Bagel or Hagel, wouldn’t be advocating so many missiles or jet aircraft belching their CO2 into the air for use in the ISIS battle, but would advocate human foot soldiers on the ground, who fight, die and decay as part of te natural carbon cycle. Then you would authorize us to get medieval on ISIS as prescribed in Pulp Fiction by Marcellus Wallace as a just punishment for their rapes.

But Hagel and the White House are a bunch of fools.
1. ISIS is knocking over huge swaths of Iraqi and Syrian territory, lusts for the blood of our children, and at least 10 have been caugh at our southern border.
2. Our borders are being overrun on a daily basis by not only disease carriers but drug cartels and every terrorist wanting to kill Americans.
3. Ebola has now gained a foothold in America and will likely spread like wildfire.
4. Enterovirus is sickening and killing children.
5. Russia still terrorizes Ukraine and China is thirsting for more influence in the South China Sea.
And this cabal of clowns still focuses on a scam that is being debunked more by the day.
Hagel is easily challenged. We are scraping the bottom of the barrel for leadership during Obama’s reign.

My guess is that Hagel is trying to out-stupid Kerry-Heinz.

I can help a little with regard to the "rising" oceans, though. I suggest we design ships that float on the surface of the water. I'm working on heavier-than-air flight next.
