Why are the GOPe not fully supporting Brownback? Goes both ways, the Kansas GOPe is responsible for inflicting Kathleen Sebelius on us. They don’t deserve our votes.
In Kansas, a sizable part of the Republican Party has always been liberal. These liberal Republicans have played both sides and managed for many years to be the power brokers, especially at the state level. They are not establishment, as demonstrated by their support for Sebelius and the Abortion industry.
They hate Brownback because he engineered the eviction of many of them from the state legislature, and from the party. The conservatives have won in Kansas thanks to Brownback, but they are fighting back. If they regain some of their power, shame on conservatives for letting it happen.
