When I early voted last week, the ballot had ‘Republican’ and ‘Democratic’ party choices.

You've got to be kidding! I'll check mine on Tuesday. They must have gone to the same skool that taught them that 'error' could be used as a verb! And that there is no reason to ever use 'whom' and that 'him and me' is correct usage.
