CLIMATE CHANGE is our era’s defining challenge, but most of America’s universities are planning to sit this one out. Though students and faculty members at more than 400 colleges have called for administrators to divest from fossil-fuel energy companies, fewer than 20 have committed to doing so. Stanford recently divested from coal, but none of the other schools had endowments within the 150 largest in 2013.

OMG! Okay kiddies. Again, I ask you to 'splain to us the numerous climate fluctuations that have occurred on our little blue marble prior to our (humans) appearing and mucking up the whole thing? Ice ages with parts of NY state under 100's of feet of ice. Ice melting and going away. Then coming back again. Tropical climates in place you never thought there would be tropical climates. Still waiting. No SUV's, no coal plants, no big industry and on and on and on. So, I think that the colleges and universities should divest themselves of all ties to "fossil" fuels and also rid themselves of any and all materials derived from same. From building materials to the clothes on their backs. Come on. Step up and do the right thing for mankind. Go ahead and solve your "era's defining challenge".

No problem. All these moonbat farms need to turn off the lights, furnace, and air conditioning. No transportation except bikes and on foot. Go back to the 19th century ya maroons.

Nope. No bikes either. That would cause increased respiration thereby creating See-Uh-O-2 spewing by the students. Feet? Wooden shoes only. No Nike, Rebook, Saucony, Sketchers etc, etc, etc. If they’re gonna go, they gotta go all the way. And here I always thought that colleges and universities were a place for the free exchange of ideas and theories. That’s what I get for thinking I guess.
