Oh My, Left Leaning poll show Cotton up Nearly Double-digits on Pryor (Cotton +8 - poll D+7)
Townhall ^

“The trend line in Arkansas looks gruesome for Mark Pryor,” Guy wrote in his preview post this morning surveying a handful of closely-watched Senate contests around the country.

And who among us could disagree?

Consider, for instance, this left leaning (D+7) PPP poll, which dropped over the weekend. Despite the fact that the D/R/I sample breakdown is 39/32/29, Sen. Pryor still finds himself on the losing end:

Arkansas is a conservative state and a lot of people are Ds because of the Civil War.

That’s slowly changing.

He’s about to be Blanche Lincolned. Good riddance. Was getting increasingly sick of this dem, especially his duplicitous lies about how he views marriage.

Arkansas was among the last Southern states to go GOP.

No.

Not in this century.

The Democrats had a Senate super-majority in 2010. That’s rare.

"Can we get to 60?"

Not when someone like Al Franken gets re-elected. Minnesota is one messed up state. Then again, California would probably elect him over any GOP candidate in that state.

55-45 or 56-44 would be a great result if its a blowout night.

Realistically, 52-48 or 54-46 would be more on the money.

Can we get to 60?

No. But don't be surprised if we pick up a seat from outside the ten seats that are commonly considered to be "on the table".

My husband's family is from Mobile Alabama and they still call it the War of Northern Aggression.

Indeed it will.

If LePage wins in Mainetomorrow that will also be one of the sweetest victories. He is a bit rough around the edges but he is a Tea Party member in good standing. And a good governor. I was out for almost an hour holding up a LePage sign.

PPP is a polling outfit run by self-described Democrats, but their polls I find are usually very reliable. I believe the Wall Street Journal had them ranked the #2 most accurate pollster in America, after SurveyUSA.

54-46 would be good. Also tell Senator Angus King to go F himself if he wants to caucus with the Republicans. He and wife endorsed Michaud on Thursday when Cutler said he was not going to be elected and told his supporters to vote their consciences.

Or not too far in the future.

Le Page would be awesome even if he were a communist. There is no filter between his heart and his mouth.

That is a beautiful thing. It sets him apart even from the Cruz’s and Palin’s, whom I do not mean to dis. And ... unlike Christie - if he were to say ‘sit down and shut up’ ... it wouldn’t be a fat tough guy act. He would simply mean ‘sit down, and shut up.’ As in ‘Sit down. And, ... shut up.”

Crass and Embarrassing -> reminds me of the founders.

I pray he’s not the last of his breed. If he were a commie, at least he’d come right out and say it. That puts him ahead of almost every single man or woman in politics today. May the Lumpen Mainer Electoriat recognize what we have. He could campaign on killing me personally, and I would still vote for him for being honest.
