I would like colors removed entirely. I am offended by being called white. I even saw an official USFS environmental analysis that referred to pre-European settlement as “before the white man came.” I was offended by the bias of the author and sent a comment in to that effect.
If blacks want to be called black fine, but stop identifying me as “white.”
This pc nonsense is destroying our language and our country. The instant that military nomenclature of “Negro”, one each, was announced as being approved, which was just a few days ago, it was destined for the memory hole of political correctness. Surprising it lasted this long.
What is the point of skin color determination in the military anyway?
Negro means Black (color wise) in Spanish. In Spanish one likely of relatively recent African ancestors or darker hues is called a word derived from Moor.

I have never thought honestly that the word, “negro” was
offensive, just reading through history books. Maybe, I am too young to understand. I always address my elders as, Mr. and Mrs / Ms. not hey, you (no matter of the race).
