The left has managed to tax us conservatives in order to pay for think tanks called universities, radio propaganda called National Public Radio, television propaganda called Public Broadcasting, endless television advertising by Public Service Unions while at the same time deploying government agencies such as the IRS to muzzle conservative organs of opinion.
The left uses tax dollars to gin up studies to rig CBO reports upon which it bases legislation to obtain more tax dollars from a deceived public. It will soon fashion regulations designed to enable them in time to censor the Internet.
Jonathan Gruber is but a metaphor for the whole stinking spoils system.

We need investigations---to see how our tax dollars changed hands---and landed into Gruber's pockets. The disdainful, preening Gruber was paid tax dollars to spin his web of lies...and to reiterate his contempt for taxpayers who are footing the bills.
Even more disturbing is the massive, multi-billion-dollar slush fund the self-serving Gruber hid from "stupid" Americans in Obamacare. Gruber made dam sure it was kept hidden from us stupid taxpayers.

As a legal question, is it possible to recover some of this $5.9 million, as the contractor has now admitted that he supplied fraudulent work to the government? And that he lied to the Congress, to the CBO, to the Media and to the American People expressly to get a piece of legislation passed? How is that not fraud?

1. Cui Bono or who benefits ,when bs surrounds and covers up or shrouds their overt or covert actions with any activity with libs in control of where money and power can be gained.

And he earned every penny.
Let’s say he received $6 million. If he billed hourly at a rate of $500 per hour, that’s 12,000 hours; if he billed at an hourly rate of $1000/hr, that’s 6,0000 hours of work.
Now, there are only about 2,000 billable working hours in a year (40 hours/week, 50 weeks).
So, either:
- Mr. Gruber did little else, and this was his main job for a number of years, or
- His hourly rate was astronomically higher,
- Or, (most likely) he engaged in a lot of double and triple billing, re-selling the same model with variations to multiple government entities and states.
I haven’t seen any other comments along these lines, so I thought I’d raise this.
There is now in the USA language/lexicon a new word, i.e. gruber. The word gruber means ‘telling a deliberate lie that is not/cannot be apparent to decent/truthful expression’. Grubers like to show off in high surroundings such as political venues and universities.
