If President Obama assumes dictatorial powers and decides to rule by executive decree, an unconstitutional process, what action should a conservative dictator take when he or she comes into power?

Not to say that conservatives always play nice and follow the Constitution. Maybe in the future, they won't. If they follow President Obama's precedent, what edict should they issue? I have my preference, but I will save it for later in the thread.

A conservative dictator would still be a dictator, and would hopefully be removed from office.

Forget ‘dictator’. No conservative successor to Obama will ever dare reverse anything he has done. Their fear of the media and the race card weapon will be Obama’s ever lasting legacy.

Something legal President Walker could do on the first day is repeal the executive order allowing federal employees to be unionized. Poof, there goes union money set aside for democrats.

“Conservative” and “dictator” don’t go in the same sentence together. “Obama” and “dictator” most certainly belong in the same sentence.

Charles Krauthammer made it clear what a farce this is, when he said this would be like a Republican president saying "Congress refused to abolish the capital gains tax, so I am directing the IRS to stop collecting it." (

It isn’t Conservative to violate the Constitution.

A) Abolish federal workers from belonging to Unions
B) Shut down the Dept of Education and the Dept of Energy
C) Initiate Health Savings Plans
D) Privatize Socialist Security
D) End all federal social programs and let states run their own
E) End Daylight Savings Time

I would think the same executive actions a “liberal” dictator would. All a dictator cares about is raw power.

What ‘conservative’ dictator? I know there are many definitions of conservative, but if we are going with the term usual for a culture represented at this website, any dictatorship is right on the opposite side of conservative.
To: wastedyears
Well, how about patriotic dictator? Or, pro-American dictator? Or, pro-American leader who rules by executive action? Drop the word dictator, if it makes you uncomfortable.
If President Obama acts unilaterally, he will essentially become a dictator, right?

The government runs on precedent. The exec and scotus write law with greater ease than congress.
That's why I doubt the Uniparty will allow the presidency to fall into non-rat hands.

Yeah, screw that musty old constitution.
A conservative “dictator” would begin by eliminating czars by the truckload, shaving the cabinet down to no more than 10 people, and order his attorney general to enforce the law as the constitution dictates.

End Daylight Savings Time? Heck with that. I would make 10:00 am 3:15 pm. 7:12 pm would now be 11:43 am. And so on. Make the libs curse the day they allowed Obama to muck with the Constitution.
