Democrats: Go big on the economy in 2016

Democrats say the main lesson of the November election is simple: Go big on the economy.

Party officials attending a daylong conference Wednesday hosted by the Center for American Progress said Democrats failed to make a forceful pitch to middle-class voters on issues like economic opportunity, stagnant wages and rising college costs—and suffered the consequences.

“Too many Democrats did not offer a progressive vision, particularly around economic issues,” said New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, pointing to his successful 2013 mayoral campaign as a model. “This year, around the country, I think there was an unwillingness on the part of so many candidates to bluntly define the problem and say, ‘Here are the potential solutions.’” …

Yeah, bull. All the Dems harped on was “progressive” economic madness—like “income inequality” and the usual Marxist class warfare claptrap.

I absolutely hate it when the jugheads on the left come out with some new cutesy phrase or saying and just wear it out. This “go big” BS is really bustin’ my .... This is the age of the thimble sized Pepsi cans. They need to knock if off with the “go big” BS.

Ha, the press is looking to Bill DeBlasio for tips on how to run their Democrat Presidential campaign in ‘16. DeBlasio’s election strategy was to parade his children in commercials with zero content. On second thought maybe that’s the best Dems can do.

When Obummer ran for re-election in 2012 the word “economy” wasn’t even a part of the Demwit lexicon. So, now it is all
important for the 2016 campaign. More ‘Rat stench.

Right. They know that the economy sucks and is not getting better. Soon the participation rate will be 10% and we will have 0.5% unemployment, all working for the Federal Government. That doesn’t mean the other 90% don’t exist!

Russ, here's how this movie script now in production, will end. By 2016 the Democrats will show that the lousy economy will be fully the fault of the obstructionist Republican Congress.

Of course, Depression II is taking much longer to run its course than Depression I because government intervention is exponentially greater. But if you can explain that to a dumbed down electorate in the Wal-Mart parking lot, I'll be buying at the VFW. Some mighty smart money says, "Depression II will not really be cured until the mid-twenties."

The morons don’t realize that the economy will suck for many more people because of the amnesty that they are all clamoring for...they don’t think these things through.

I like hearing these people talk. The more they say the more we figure out what they are up to.

We want them to keep vomiting outta their mouths.

If they didn’t emphasize the economy, it was their own fault. In every formal and informal poll, if you ask voters about what the most important issue was to them this year, jobs and economy was number one every time.

Of course, it may be that the economy has been crappy so they exchanged it for the war on women.

That'll work.

That's the ticket.

I was paid $600,000 to come up with “just say the economy is improving” since the the American voter is to stupid to know it is not.
