I still don’t get how a state can elect a governor and a legislature of opposing party affiliation.
They do it by listing the names separately on the ballot. That way people can vote for the person, not party, they like better. Hogan has not made very many enemies.
I don't either. The voters return the old Democrat weirdo leftists to the House of Delegates and to the Senate but elect a Republican governor and then expect something to change. The DemonRATS dominate Maryland and this new governor will get nothing accomplished except perhaps slowing down the Democrats legislative agenda.
