Obama administration officials said Monday the “necessary precautions” have been taken at U.S. facilities around the world in preparation for the looming release of a Senate report on the alleged use of torture by the CIA.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters the president strongly supports the release of the declassified support, but that the administration also recognizes the document could spark outrage and may put American interests across the globe in danger.

The report is expected to be released Tuesday. It likely will include bombshell details of CIA practices during the war on terror.

While the White House believes the report’s release could put U.S. facilities and personnel in danger, Mr. Earnest said the president still believes the document must be released.

Release of the document, like so many things done in the Obama presidency, is a treasonous act.

Another opportunity to get Americans killed and America weakened. How could the Democrats pass it up?

Never mind the fact that American’s heads are being chopped off by Islamofascists. This should not even be an issue. Another chance for the left to say America is bad.

Does not hold water unless you are a water walker mentality!

Obama administration officials said Monday the “necessary precautions” have been taken at U.S. facilities around the world in preparation for the looming release of a Senate report on the alleged use of torture by the CIA.

Releasing a report on the alleged use of torture by the CIA would be counter productive and incredibly stupid unless it includes the alleged use of torture by the Taliban, Russia, Cuba, North Korea and communist or totalitarian countries.

Exactly what purpose would the release of incendiary allegations serve? Does the USA want to cede another advantage to a hostile world to take us down another notch, and make the USA even more vulnerable to attack by a growing list of even stronger enemies?

"This is TREASON"

What if it shows CIA lied to Congress under oath and neither Bush or Obama was willing to prosecute?

What if the names of all cooperating parties are redacted?

Would that still be treason?

The new congress should move right to impeachment on their first day in office...Obama is going to spend the next two tearing down and destroying America and we cannot afford that.

It is time...

Because While the White House believes the report’s release could put U.S. facilities and personnel in danger, Mr. Earnest said the president still believes the document must be released.

Fixed it.

Obama wants to release the report because he is so committed to transparency.
