Yep. Very misleading headline. They aren't Americans in any way, shape or form other than they got U.S. Citizenship on the cheap by lying about who they were, their true intentions or, even more commonly, being birthed on American soil.

Birthright citizenship is not supposed to apply to children of diplomats, those here on temporary visas or invading and occupying foreign armies.

Every child born to an illegal alien fits one of the above three categories.
