It stayed together long enough to get me to a makeup interview. I got the job for that. When I got back home, my brother and I rebuilt the carburetor. It turned out to be the fuel pump.

I went next door and traded it to a mechanic who really wanted it. I traded it for a 93 Ford Explorer (he called it Exploder because he immigrated from Mexico 20 years ago, and his English still isn’t the best).

The Explorer has done me well. I prefer trucks over cars, so I am happy. I don’t have an old car robbing me of $2000 per month.

Good for you.
When I was younger I enjoyed cars and enjoyed working on them.
But the older I get, the more I hate them.
My daily driver is a 1988 F150.

Mark, about 25% % actively fought in the Revolution. The other 15% were happy to do nothing until the Revolution got started.

That is how tyranny suppresses rebellion...by pointing out only a minority percentage are willing to get involved. They purposefully ignore the group who support those taking action but won’t or can’t take action themselves.
