Your pointless attempt at an insult notwithstanding, why just Russian aggression? Do you want to go to war with Iran, too? They're quite aggressive. So is North Korea. China is very aggressive as well. How many wars are you willing to get us into and to what end? If we smash the combined militaries of all these countries, do we no longer have to worry about "aggression"?
Your thinking here, unfortunately, is not uncommon, especially on FR. So many tactical thinkers, nearly zero strategic thinkers. The calculus of international strategy is foreign to many people, and I fully admit I'm a neophyte at it myself, but, as distasteful an idea as it may be to you, it's very real. We've been at war for about 13 years now with nearly nothing to show for it. You wish to continue this trend? Keep charging in where we're not wanted.
