It will be OK.

I called long distance information, as they tried to get in touch me. I did not know the number, but I knew the place to call, cause my uncle took the message and he wrote it on the wall.

Barge could do it. The current is so fast and strong though, better be one hell of a barge captain.

What a lame bridge to target. I guess nothing in Madison County was available...

A truck filled w/ ANFO driving across the bridge and detonated at the weakest point would do the job quite adequately.

All the cameras and police patrols in the world would not be able to stop something like this.

Apparently the “job” of this terrorist attack is to cause disruption, not kill people.

Well, well, well ... ... and less than 45 minutes down Interstate 55 lies the lovely town of Batesville, Mississippi. You’ll remember that town from the recent burning to death of the young white girl. Interesting Muslim connections there. Jeez, what’s going on in middle-America?

I believe this like I believe I need another hole in my head.

Blacks are rampaging all over the nation, why give them a reason to come together with the rest of us?

Why Memphis?

Why not hit a real target like San Fransisco or Los Vegas? Or a military base?

Isn’t Millersville TN the town in which the cop let the 3 muslims who said they had a dead body in the trunk drive off so as not to offend them?

Memphis is run by the corrupt incompetent Dem political machine so I’m struggling to understand why Islamists have this city as a target. I mean the Muslims could prolly gain power by running as Democrats. No need for blowing up bridges.

My dad shut down the bridge back in 1953. Our old car gave up the ghost half way over between Ark and Memphis. We spent several days in Memphis getting a new transmission.

Thank goodness I use 65 to travel up through Tennessee...

I now it sounds selfish, but the point is that the reason we are in this condition is that so many (even some who consider themselves conservative) are of the mind that anything's OK as long as it doesn't affect them personally. How many are really ready to sacrifice stuff they have in order to see a return to a constitutional representative republic?

It’s a pretty strategic location for crossing the Mississippi River in that location. I think it would cause a lot of disruption. At night the route from Little Rock to Memphis is wall to wall 18 wheelers.

Lots of Muslims dispersed strategically across the South. (Both kinds - converts and “real.”) Remember the Little Rock recruiting station shooter - originally from Memphis, his father runs the Blues City Tour Buses. (Don’t know if the father is Muslim, don’t really think so.) The shooter himself was radicalized at a mosque in Nashville, and also had some connection to a mosque in Columbus, OH. And don’t forget our friends at the Tyson plant in Shelbyville, TN.

I’ve always heard there’s a big terror training camp somewhere in Alabama, but that may just be rumor. If it’s true, though, I feel certain there is a FReeper who has the info on it.

It’s their way - spread out in heartland areas where we wouldn’t expect them to be.
