If gas prices drop to $2.00 a gallon, there goes the “cash for clunkers” program.

Any energy source that requires a subsidy is, by definition, “unsustainable.”

The American dream of running commercial trucks and buses on natural gas, and exporting liquefied NG, also took a huge hit yesterday:

NG briefly touched $3.00 and closed at $3.03.

A big part of our future natural gas “surplus” depends on capturing and transporting gas from wells that would make no economic sense at that price.

And that is what percentage of the Market? It’s like changing thousands of years of culture to appease homosexuals, ...foolish.

The sustained high gas prices of the Obama years have doubtless encouraged advances and growth in alternative fuels. Tesla has proven that electric cars are viable, and not just some rich Birkenstock-wearing trust baby’s statement. Natural gas vehicles are gaining in prominence as well.

The oil mafia is getting the message.

Believing that an electric car is “green” and a combustion engine isn’t requires ignorance on how electricity is generated or the belief that it shows up at the outlet by magic.

Frackers torpedo crony capitalists...a serendipitous outcome.

I’d love to short Tesla stock but I know never to bet against a regime affiliate....

Naaah. The price of gas is notoriously volatile. It’ll go up again. Those technologies that never made economic sense like fuel cells will drop off, but those that make some sense like lpg will carry on. Just a buying opportunity!

Gas price plunge threatens fuel-cell and electric cars

Has the entire country turned into a nation of teenage hedonistic electronic zombies?

Nobody ever thinks more than a few months ahead any more?

They all have crystal balls that confirms nothing will ever change again?

OK.

“If gas prices stay low — granted, a very big “if” —”

At least there is a recognition of sorts here.

How many times do we have to go through these cycles before people learn what will happen next, and where prices will head after the coming adjustments become effective in the market?

The cheapest we have found in our area of SoCal is $2.59, but it will be going up. Our governor Moonbeam made sure of that with our new gas tax starting at the beginning of the year.
