Attorney General Eric Holder insisted to MSNBC earlier this month that “we are in a better place than we were before” in race relations since Barack Obama was elected president.
The president doubled down in an interview with NPR last week. Asked if race relations were worse since he took office, he said, “No, I actually think that it’s probably in its day-to-day interactions less racially divided.” But that’s not what the American people see. A Pew Research Center poll found that only 40% of Americans approve of the way Obama is handling race relations. Black approval is down to 57%, while approval among whites is down to 33%.
More young people under age 30, the age group who were most enthusiastic about electing the nation’s first African-American president, now disapprove of his performance on racial issues than approve. And Eric Holder has one of the lowest approval ratings of any public official.
Law-enforcement officials are appalled at the way the Obama administration exploited tragedies in Ferguson, Mo., and New York City to appeal to its political base. David Clarke, a Democrat who is the African-American sheriff of Milwaukee, doesn’t mince his words.

A democrat without an exploitable crisis can be depended on to create some. This the sole source of their power.
Past criminal convictions may not be used as evidence against an accused person toward present crimes.......so why doesn’t anybody challenge the MSM , Obama, or Holder on why the same rules don’t apply when they accuse police officers or a George Zimmerman of a crime with a racial motivation based on something as amorphous as “past U.S. racist history”? We have to ignore the fact that Michael Brown robbed a store & roughed up the owner with an entitlement “don’t make me hurt you because I WILL hurt you attitude” that makes the cop’s story easy to believe after seeing the Brown tape.........and we’re not supposed to consider Gardner’s long arrest record as the real reason cops treated him like a criminal......but we’re supposed to presume police officers guilty based on somebody else’s crimes and past history because they possess the “whiteness” gene? Are white people genetically inferior or racist criminals?

Prior convictions CAN be used as evidence. I think it’s called the 404B(?) rule, where prosecution notifies both the court and defense that they (prosecutors) intend to use defendant’s prior bad acts to show defendant’s proclivity for crime. It’s up to the judge whether to allow it. But it can be used.
WE all knew this.
As usual,whatever Obama & Holder have to say about a particular situation....the opposite is usually true.
