Presenting his experience as being confined to some small, distinct, non-representative subset of the black population is absurd.
While I might disagree with 'small, distinct, non-representative subset', it was the author who claims the BASIS for his statement comes from his associations with alleged criminals. He even mentioned the particular crimes they would likely commit, by race. That would seem to exclude victims/family/friends.
