I have always been asked for a valid government issued photo ID when going to an emergency room (and I have been there a lot) and also been asked to give my s/s (Medicare) number at any first time visit to a doctor.
I get that we should give to private charity hospitals but when the government seizes control of them through dictating who they must treat ......
I have never been to an emergency room, so I certainly defer to your experience.
But in regards to donating to charities, I won’t let Obama cause me to alter my charitable giving. I can’t stop the gov’t from giving away my tax dollars, but the money that I control, I alone control.
