White House Struggles to Answer Questions About Harvard Faculty Outrage Over ObamaCare
Free Beacon ^ | 1/6/15 | Washington Free Beacon Staff

During the press briefing at the White House this afternoon, Josh Earnest was questioned about President Obama’s former colleagues at Harvard who are now complaining about the ACA they once supported. Harvard released a statement that the law is raising health insurance costs and therefore the university would have to change the plans for their staff.

Ed Henry asked Earnest if it was “hypocritical” for these professors to claim that Obamacare was good for the country until they, themselves, had to pay more because of it. Earnest, for his part, seemed stumped by the question. He stuttered and stumbled through his answer before rattling off the typical White House talking points about the law.

Jeez, did they forget to ask for an exemption? How many scores of other Obama-favored groups got extra-legal discretionary delays and exemptions on request?

One would think that a place like Harvard would have the resources to actually study and analyze new legislation before they throw their support behind it.

Harvard Professors are deviationists; they have strayed from the Party Line. They forgot the lessons of the traitors Kamenev and Bukharin. The Party demands Iron Discipline.

Time for a purge.

Jeez, did they forget to ask for an exemption?

Said it before. One of the first bills that the GOP needs to send to Obama is simply: No one is exempt from Obamacare.

Pardon my language, but these academic scum are griping over a $250.00 deductible. We don't make much money, ours is $6,000.00 dollars.

They should go to hell.

Maybe the Harvard elitists are feeling a little poorer lately, but with a $30 billion endowment it seems to me they can easily afford any increases.

From U.S. News: "Harvard University, the college with the largest endowment in the country, saw its numbers drop from $32 billion at the end of fiscal year 2011 to $30 billion at the end of fiscal year 2012, according to data reported to U.S. News in an annual survey."

Actually, they may have been thinking it would be free for them,
but what they were really after was the sense of moral superiority that they got for supporting “affordable healthcare for all”.

So the goal isn’t universal coverage.
The “side effects” are the actual goals.
