Obama Encourages Poor Work Ethic with ‘Depend on Government’ Attitude

A few days ago my wife and I were on a trip. It was early morning, and we stopped at a well-known fast food chain to get breakfast. We pulled up to the drive through only to be greeted by a surly, unhelpful voice that seemed to be irritated and bothered by customers who help pay her salary.

Now I'll admit that working the pre-dawn hours at a fast food window is not my idea of the ideal job, but if it happens to be the only one you have at the time, shouldn't you do it to the best of your ability in hopes that the powers that be will notice your attitude and move you on up the ladder when there is an opening available?

Some of these kids a are more than happy to have a job and when I encounter one, I thank them for working there. It sucks but at least you have some control and aren't necessarily dependent on the gov for everything. Thanks Charlie. Keep on rockin' and come to Reno sometime.

Obama is just par for the course when it comes to not encouraging a work ethic and encouraging a reliance on handouts. The entire purpose of the Welfare State is to decrease self-reliance and increase reliance on government. We are now at the point where people don’t even try to be self reliant. The idea that government payments are a “safety net” is a joke. Government payments are a way of life for way too many Americans. Its a process that started decades ago. Obama just pushed it along more quickly.

One of the biggest mistakes our nation is making is allowing men to father children and not be held accountable for their welfare.

I like you Charlie, love your music too, but you are missing a big part of the equation. When we were growing up girls/women didn’t drop their shorts on Hello, how are you. The vast majority of girls/women that have bought into the whole free sex/feminism movement is really the root of the problem. If women had any scruples they wouldn’t be puttin out so easily to a man that has NO INTENTION of Marrying them or rearing their child. Wasn’t like this when I was growing up, a Man had to work for it to get laid.

I am in my mid 50’s and the women that bought into this crap are for the most part, poor,broke, lonely and desperate, and if I went to a Bar or Club, 90% of the women my age that have lived the feminist dream will drop their pants on a simple Hello.

If Women do not respect themselves, why should men have anymore respect for them??
