I'm not a Democratas being good enough to win, instead of taking it as
f—k this bull, let's fix things.of the electorate being tired of business as usual.)
So, because you don't think it can happen, we shouldn't even try. Got it.
What they can do now is throw a monkey wrench or three in there and let it grind to a halt. Sooner or later a president and a congress will come along and officially take it off the books.
They could have done that before by refusing to fund it, or did you forget that the Republicans had a majority in the House of Representatives, from whence funding comes? — Your throw a monkey wrench in it
comes of as a steaming pile of BS considering that.
I wonder if the GOOBs have a plan on how they are going to subsidize ObamaCare for Barry’s 11.6 million illegal alien invaders who recently were given amnesty by the Kenyan’s pen and phone.
This is the biggest problem I have with non-voters, and particularly “I aint givin’ my consent!” people.
When you vote, at least you physically do something to make your personal voice heard. And you may possibly get a good guy or gal in there.
When you do not vote, you are allowing the left to seemlessly take over without any opposition.
Go down fighting, not whimpering like a little girl! My 2 cents.
Exactly. And people who think the Republicans can somehow turn back the clock to the pre-Obamacare state of health insurance are deluded.
Some legislation, once passed, is impossible to erase.
The deluded ones think that the GOP even want to turn back the clock
Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try. -Yoda
If they only had to get two or three votes, perhaps four, to overturn, I'd go ahead and do it. But thirteen? I've been watching these guys for a while, that's a lot.
Unless they can overcome a veto, passing a full repeal puts us right back where we started.
Lets see if they do that. I am betting they don’t.
Communications director for Senator Ted Cruz? Nice..:)
It doesn't matter if the GOP does or not. The insurance companies sure as hell don't want to turn back the clock and they're the ones holding the cards.
Even if the GOP could repeal it, are they going to demand that insurance companies offer their old plans again? How would they accomplish that?
end the subsidies and mandates for one
If voting made any difference they wouldn't let us do it."

Say the cognoscenti with nose in the air after their 20th consecutive year of missing primaries in which 5.5% of the eligible voters voted
(and that’s in a hypothetical world where no other impact could be had on the political life of a land)
I'm repeating myself for the 3rd time today.
It's a one party system perpetrating a non stop version of Kabuki theater on America.
Unfortunately most people are too busy with their "bread & circuses" to either pay attention or care about what's happening.
Being sick of the GOP means you put too much trust in them in the first place.
See, thats where you are totally wrong. I really see no point of rehashing Barry, George Bush1/2 or Bill Clinton doing any one of a hundred things where they simply reached into their arses, pulled out an edict and made it happen. Because we all talk about that very thing daily.
The one thing I simply do not grasp is why there are people think it’s impossible to turn back Obamacare to last day of normality policies. They went from normality as we knew it POOF!
And they can most assuredly be unpoofed exactly the same way. It’s simply a matter of will. There is not one thing that occurs in America that 500+ people don’t materialize as they ‘feel’ needed. That can work just as easily going the other way.
Well, no — you can be sick of the corrupt police in your city w/o thinking that they are/will-be any better than they are.
This was always a better strategy...on paper. You can keep control of the message. However, there’s no reason for confidence they would continue repealing elements of it after the 30 hour work week and medical device tax provisions. Removing the mandates on policies that limit choice of policy types and requiring coverage people do not need, etc. are also very much needed as that could render the exchanges useless even if they themselves were not repealed, the banning of physician owned hospitals should be repealed, etc. Each individual piece being repealed would allow for a separate and unique debate and a focused discussion keep the blanket “why don’t you want the poor and sick to be able to go to the doctor”, however nonsensical, to be a viable means of rebuttal argument vs. a full repeal - which is so much you can’t control the narrative of why it’s bad.
It would certainly not happen overnight, but repealing the mandates which made the old plans disappear could allow them to reappear overtime as choice in the insurance marketplace could encourage more plans to be offered.
Fine. Start with the Individual Mandate. Don't pass legislation that only benefits the almighty COC.
