Look, I want Obamacare gone too, but passing a full repeal that’s only going to get vetoed serves a single purpose. To makes us feel good. Bottom line, they can’t overturn a veto. Sorry, that’s just the way it is right now.
On the other hand: Obamacare is a big, complicated, mess of a law, that could be altered in such a way to make it unworkable and/or inoperative. This could also be done quietly, but adding some altered definitions and riders to other things that have nothing to do with healthcare.
Wouldn’t that be funny, Obama signs two or three bills into law, and his signature achievement blows up in his face.

This law cannot be fixed. It is a cancer. Cancers must be removed — en bloc.

The only difference I see is the speed with which we go over the cliff, but down we'll go either way. Heck, I don't even see a difference in speed — at this point, it's whether or not the hazard lights are on.

You see, this is the true face of the Republican Party — they are about their elite status, state power, and don't care about the Constitution.
It is the Constitutionalist, the Libertarian, the Conservative that are RINOs — It's been made abundantly clear that we have no say, no place, in the Republican party.

did anyone really think that the RINO’s would go for full repeal?

Everyone needs to take deep breath and remember that this is precisely what Ted Cruz suggested was the way to dismantle O’Care.

I don't know... though the few weeks before the Nov elections you would have thought that the Republican Party was our only hope from reading FR.

But...but....they said we had to elect Republicans to repeal this!!!! WTF? How are they going to repeal this? Do you think the insurance companies are going to magically start offering their old plans again?

Do you think the insurance companies are going to magically start offering their old plans again? Noooo...quite the contrary, and that's the point. Single payer coming right up! Watch. That's what was meant to happen from the beginning.

Of course. The elections are over.
Also, the establishment boys are no longer as keen on being strong on the immigration issue as they were before the first week in November.
Amazing how that happens, isn’t it?

Right now the GOP does not have enough votes to overcome a veto. They would need an additional 13 Dems to join them. I don't think that's going to happen.
What they can do now is throw a monkey wrench or three in there and let it grind to a halt. Sooner or later a president and a congress will come along and officially take it off the books.
