I have noticed that dead journalists are the cause of days and weeks of wall-to-wall coverage, the gathering of world leaders (excepting Obama), and demonstrations of behalf of free press and free speech. The Hebdo incident in France is simply another example.

However, thousands of murdered Christians in 2014 are barely noteworthy in our media. No marches. No gathering of leaders. No insistence of free exercise of religion.

...the Department of State is adhering with all the rigidity of a Soviet era bureaucracy to the rule that only people at risk from massacres launched by the regime qualify for refugee status. The rapes of Christian women and the butchery of Christian children do not count.
