HIGHLY doubtful that's the reason. If that were the reason...they CERTAINLY wouldn't be in Sweeny, Texas...which is where I grew up.

Matter of fact, the encampment off of county rd 3 in Sweeny (actually Old Ocean) is about 3 miles as the crow flies from my old house....and I have a high school buddy who lives across the street!

And he CERTAINLY qualifies as an armed redneck...
