I think the poster is referring to a fact that Olbie went to the agricultural school at Cornell with the lower admissions requirements but prefers to say he went to Ivy League Cornell.

I have to remind some of my university friends from time to time that Cornell is a hybrid state/private institution, containing ag, ILR, and several other schools that are state-supported (think SUNY), and it is only the privately supported part that is similar to the other Ivy league universities.
