Could be that her brain is fried on drugs...because that makes perfect sense to me. There are a lot of other skills you can learn outside of college like court recording that provide a decent income.
By the way she rationalizes one night stands and a bunch of kids from different men, it sounds like you’re right. I’ve been poor and technically homeless, and I can tell you that I’ve been surrounded by people making horrible choices and I realize that it’s mainly about choice, not circumstances.
