Never underestimate the ability of the human to rationalize and make excuses for anything they want to do.
It is ridiculous and dangerous to accept any aberrant behavior that one displays, solely on the basis of, “I was born that way.”
Where does it stop? “I was born to steal, to rob, to rape, to kill.”
This evil anti-social excuse for perverted behavior that, “I was born that way” should be confronted and dispatched with a recommendation that the person admit they are a sinner, as we all are, and ask for forgiveness from Jesus Christ.

Yes, it does. Our society as a whole treats minors as if they are capable of consenting to sex, with very limited exceptions. And apparently, this is what a substantial part of the population wants.
