Why doesn’t the ACLU simply ask the Commander-In-Chief?

About 30% of the population is considered obese. Yet, I don’t see this segment of the population represented at the service academies. Obviously, this is descrimination. The service academies are funded through tax dollars, and obese people pay taxes. Therefore, the government is required to ensure that 30% of the cadets at the service academies are obese.

This should be queued up right after their suit against the NBA and NFL for disproportionate representation of race and gender.

Non-Profit Groups Sue DOD To Disclose Why There Aren’t More Women

I don’t know what DOD has to do with it, but I actually believe there are more women than men. How many do they think there should be? And why don’t they ask about why there aren’t more men? I’m insulted.

I’ll save them some lawyers fees and provide the answer, but they won’t like it.

I was on the faculty of the Military Academy when women were first admitted. Women are less attracted to military careers in general, they are less interested in math and science disciplines that constitute the core of the academic program, and they are less interested in the immersion in an athletic environment for all cadets, regardless of their athletic aptitude. In short, women are less likely to be attracted to the education and lifestyle that are offered by the military academies. The result is that it’s harder to find fully qualified women cadets who can make it through the program. Four years as a member of the United States Corps of Cadets is not for the faint hearted or marginally motivated young man or woman.

IIRC, about 10% of each class are former enlisted, while 90% +/- of each class are appointed by congressmen/senators.

Ask the politicians why they don’t appoint more women.

One of the great media promoted myths is that the ACLU seeks to champion American Liberty. They are fare closer to a National Socialist enforcer than anything recognizable in terms of American tradition.

Of course, the insanity of promoting the notion that the sexes are interchangeable in their aptitudes for various forms of employment is insane. (Feminist Delusion)

It is equally insane to accept the notion that the ACLU has any interest in protecting freedom of conscience, inquiry or association in America. (Leftwing Word Games.)

I have been observing the ACLU war on American Liberty over two generations, and that they still can get away with the continuing farce, is truly amaxing.
