Put on WTAE they have a bouncer (who was there working a craft show as a vendor). This guy is pure gold...he has worked as a bouncer and is a stream of conscious.

There were three ambulances and a few cops cars outside one of the Macy's entrances.I parked at an adjacent Macy's entrance. I noticed large numbers of people streaming from all the exits in my view, and the cars around mine suddenly came to live & drove off.and you were still headed inside with a 7 year old because???
George, the craft show vendor, just turned super serious. He said “politics” will keep the MM open as tens of thousands in taxes go to Monroeville. He said he’s done working there. It’s really heartbreaking to hear him.
I go there about 1/3 of the time (mostly to go Westmoreland Mall). I grew up in Oakland...when I first got my DL I “got” to drive out there. The original skating rink. Just damn.

Correction: 2 of the 2 victims are critical. One of the 2 is believed to be the target. The other 2 apparently had no connection to the alleged intended victim.
The TV station was interviewing witnesses. Many of them had children in the play area. They were panicky, trying to grab their children and get out.
The vendor (George) is a candy maker; he said he won’t go back and sell at MM.

This concerns me since I work at a Pittsburgh area mall west of the city. I’d love to get a concealed carry eventually but I now live in Ohio and work in PA so I wonder how to go about it. Anyhoo, I’ve seen my fair share of suspicious character too. My father was witness at a shooting at Ross Park Mall and was quoted in the press. Basically he said to be aware of your surroundings, something I’m sure he learned when he was stationed at Camp Casey in Korea during the 1950’s. He said that “you have to learn to sleep with your eyes open.”

The malls need to get serious about security. I’m envisioning TSA with scanners, pat downs, the whole ball of wax. I don’t want that kind of security, but if law enforcement is forbidden from going after the gangstas (per orders of the Department of Injustice), I don’t see any other way to make these buildings safe.
well after tonight I will be more tuned in. I usually keep my eyes on people & do feel like I have been tuned in in the past, but I was foolish to think when I saw an ambulance that maybe someone was just having a medical problem...or fell. There’s lots of ice around Pittsburgh today.
Not sure, but I think she meant she got her seven year old out of the car, then started in, before she realized what was happening.
It’s heartening to know that so many Pittsburghers are freepers.
