Also, if Putin is as nuts as kim jong il, then we need to go full speed to get him deposed.
He's taken the measure of Europe and found their resolve wanting. He's taken the measure of Obama and found him insipid.
Given his desire to reassemble the old USSR, he's following a predictable low risk and low cost strategy.
Obama is unwilling and unqualified to be a commander-in-chief, and Jean Francois Kerry? In what universe is he nominated to be Sec of State, much less confirmed?
Clinton's presidency was called a vacation from history. Obama's is best described as a vacation from reality.
