Yes. The ship in question is a small dedicated training vessel that a stack of containers can be placed on to simulate various scenarios. Not something the Navy wants to blow up.
I’ve never seen it used as a target for munitions before. Have seen pictures and video of SEALs using it to conduct opposed boarding scenarios.
