I was underlining a pet peeve - there is no party called "Democratic".
YOU are correct.
It’s the DEMOCRAT PARTY .. but when the Repubs added an enhancement to the word DemocRAT .. the Dems decided to change it.
Thus, we have the Democratic “party” .. BUT .. nobody ever calls them the DEMOCRATICS .. do they ..?? They still say DEMOCRATS.
Yeah - I agree, but it’s never been a pet peeve of mine...but the media not being able to figure out, for example, what party Eliot Spitzer was when his scandal broke out, is a peeve of mine. I wonder if the Jurassics will be able to discern which party the Oregon governor is.
Then again, if we all had the same peeves, it would be boring world....:)
