The headline says it all. It’s a no brainer. Open carry perhaps would be an even greater detriment to a would be attacker, but the advantage of concealed carry in the ‘big picture’ is that the attacker doesn’t know who is carrying, so even rabid antigun libtards benefit from CC.

It might stop the relatively smaller percentage of stranger-danger cases, but will do nothing for the “date rapes” after the woman has gotten plastered while dressed like a streetwalker and then goes to a guy’s room voluntarily to pass out. Unfortunately, the guys in these situations are the ones most at risk.
In theory that may be true, but let’s peel this onion back just one layer. I would wager that the vast majority of girls raped are pretty damn drunk. A pretty damn drunk chick or anyone for that matter has no business carrying a gun.
