This article is good but not inclusive enough. IPS is a Marxist organization, funded by various liberal and Marxist foundations over the decades including the Samuel Rubin Foundation (named after Communist Party member Samuel Rubin, who was also a Soviet asset during his lifetime. He was also the head of Fabrege’ or one of its top units. His daughter Cora Weiss, is/was the top Hanoi Lobbyist from the CPUSA-founded Women Strike for Peace (i.e. Pauline Rosen), a Mobe leader, Hanoi visitor, Riverside Church employee, and married to German Marxist Peter Weiss - NLG, CCR,law firm of Kunstler, Kinoy, Stavis and Weiss, et al).

Karen Nussbaum and Karen Ackerman were both members of the Cuban-DGI founded/US SDS aided “Venceremos Brigade”. Nussbaum was a leader of the CPUSA-dominated District 65; Ackerman was a leader of the CPUSA founded/dominated Local 1199 Hospital Workers Union, among others.

Both Ackerman and Nussbaum (also in 9 to 5 organization), were top leaders of the AFL-CIO under the leadership of comrade Richard Trumka.

The International Committee to Free the Cuban Five and the US chapter were run by communists, the US chapter run by the Stalinist “Workers World Party”. Bill Hackwell, the photographer referred to in the column, is a longtime WWP leader. The former leader of IPS, Robert Borosage, was hired by George “The Nazi KAPO” Soros to head the then nearly created Open Society organization, as well as associated with its parallel sister organization, Campaign for American Progress (CAP) then led by psychoRed John Podesta, now Hillary’s top advisor.
