They are not snuggling up to them for nothing. They are looking for ideas. I’m sure that they already have a long list of properties to be confiscated. Only a few more elections stand in their way.

Many of these Cuban hotels were known to have hidden cameras and listening devices in order to spy on movie stars, heads of state, etc.
Castro and his cronies used to get their jollies watching movie stars make out with one another in what they thought was the “privacy” of their hotel rooms.
I heard Pope John Paul II had his room swept for bugs and cameras before he stayed in Cuba on an official visit.
I have a question. How can the uber-rich democrats guarantee their own billions/millions won’t be confiscated? (Is Oprah safe?) None of them are Muslims. It should be easy to find out who is favored by those who are doing the confiscating, no?
